Human name: Trinidad Agimat de la Cruz
Her name "Trinidad" means "trinity", referring to the three main geographical divisons: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. "Agimat" means "charm", referring to the rich natural resources acting as a charm attracting foreign attention. Finally, "de la Cruz", meaning "of the Cross", refers to the majority of Christianity (mostly Roman Catholic) in the country.

Personality: Trinidad is a strong-willed young woman, and an optimistic one at that. She's eager to learn and eager to increase her knowledge in order to become a better person and country. She's also cheerful and playful, which sometimes leads to her becoming reckless.
As a child before colonization, she very much loved (and still does love) her freedom. She was free-willed and adventurous, but also very defensive to unfamiliar faces until they've earned her trust.
When Spain colonized her, she settled down and became more submissive to her superior as the earlier years progressed. She quickly adapted to his influences and followed his teachings, as she found them very interesting. That began her colonial mentality.
She can be impatient at times when she doesn't get her way, and can even resort to offense when she deems the time right. She also can't handle her anger so well when she snaps (and that takes a really long time). However, most of the time she is patient and possesses a lot of self-restraint, assuming she's not stressed/angered/annoyed.
Trinidad is very fond of soap operas, and due to this, she can be overly dramatic at times. She's also a big fan of K-Pop and J-Pop. She can also be a huge fan-girl, especially of the romance genre.
She is a devoted Catholic, but also very superstitious. She also knows how to perform spells, but is beginning to forget it. Nowadays she doesn't perform them as much. However, she has the ability to see mythical creatures and ghosts when she visits certain places or her rural homes.
Due to her status as a third-world country, she is very hardworking and has a strong sense of business acumen. She's also very hospitable, even if it means experiencing a little discomfort. She's also very frugal.
Trinidad can be reckless at times in terms of taking care of the environment, and she wants to change her habit. Despite this, she is a neat-freak, and loves to clean and to keep things in place.
Having been trained when she was young, she becomes more serious and reserved when tending to business and formal events. She also becomes stringent and starts to strictly abide the rules.
She is also very athletic, and loves sports such as basketball, boxing, badminton, tennis, etc. She's also trying to put the traditional martial art arnis back into more practice and other techniques such as mano mano and yaw-yan. Naturally competitive, she's willing to practice and feel the pain for sweet victory.
However, due to her overly dramatic personality, she sometimes gives up when times get too rough for her, tears and whines included. This usually goes on for only a short period of time, then she moves on to work on getting out of it. Also, when working, she has a bad habit of procrastinating.
She can be a bit impulsive at times, often leading to misunderstandings with the people around her. Despite this, she's quick to forgive and would like to avoid unnecessary trouble at all costs.
All in all, she's a happy, peace-loving girl, but certainly not one to be angered.
